On 2026-08-03 we froze the 50 companies with the highest HDB Score over a 1Y window. The list has not changed since and cannot: it is published as a hashed file, timestamped by third parties. Every number below is measured forward from that day.
We froze one list per ranking window on the same day and publish all of them — so the window you are reading was not chosen after the fact for looking good.

How this is measured, and what it cannot tell you
- Equal weight, buy and hold. Every company carries the same weight from day one. Nothing is ever rebalanced, added, or removed.
- Companies that stop trading stay in. A delisted or acquired member is held at its last available close and keeps its weight. Removing it would silently drop losers and inflate the result.
- Dividends included, both sides. Cohort and benchmark both use split- and dividend-adjusted closing prices, so the comparison is like-for-like.
- No fees, taxes, or slippage. Real returns would be lower. This is not a simulated portfolio and not a product you can buy.
- Several lists, one start date. Every ranking window was frozen on the same day and all of them are published here. That removes any chance to pick the flattering one later — but 5 comparisons also mean one of them will look best by luck. Read them together, not one at a time.
- Nothing is ever revised. Each day is appended once and never edited. If a data provider later corrects a past price, we say so here instead of quietly rewriting history.
- Not investment advice. The HDB Score measures past business results, not valuation. A strong company can still be a poor investment at the wrong price.
