Comparison

How Holder Dashboard compares

We're not the biggest tool here, and we're not the cheapest. Holder Dashboard does one thing: rank businesses by decades of revenue and profit consistency, for people who buy and hold. This page lays every alternative next to us — including where they beat us — so you can decide honestly.

Most of these products are a different category from ours. Some sell recommendations (Motley Fool, Seeking Alpha). Some are full terminals with hundreds of metrics (Stock Rover, TIKR). Some are screeners built for shorter horizons (Finviz, Zacks). They generally do more than we do.

What we do instead is narrow on purpose: one transparent ranking of the whole universe by long-term business quality, with the method published in full and no black box. Simple to use, sophisticated underneath.

Where the others are stronger

A comparison that only flatters us wouldn't be honest. Here's what each of these genuinely does better than a focused ranking tool:

Simply Wall St

Broader global coverage and polished visual reports with portfolio tracking. The closest tool in spirit.

The Motley Fool

Gives you actual buy/sell recommendations and a 20-year public track record — we never tell you what to buy.

Seeking Alpha

Deep library of human analyst theses, earnings-call transcripts, and quant/dividend grades.

Zacks

An established, back-tested quant rank driven by earnings-revision data and research reports.

Finviz

The fastest, most filter-rich screener, plus real-time data, charts, and heatmaps.

Stock Rover

700+ metrics, 10+ years of history, and serious portfolio analytics and rebalancing.

TIKR

Institutional-grade global data — analyst estimates, guru/13F tracking, and valuation modeling.

Stock Analysis

Enormous free-first coverage of clean financials at a rock-bottom price.

Which should you choose?

  • The Motley Fool or Seeking Alpha if you want someone to hand you specific buy/sell picks or analyst theses.
  • Stock Rover or TIKR if you want a full research terminal — hundreds of metrics, global data, valuation models.
  • Finviz if you want a fast, powerful screener with real-time data.
  • Zacks if you want an earnings-momentum quant rank for shorter holding periods.
  • Simply Wall St or Stock Analysis if you want the broadest global coverage or the lowest price.

Choose Holder Dashboard if you want a simple, transparent ranking of businesses by decades of revenue and profit consistency — built only for long-term holders, with the methodology shown in full and nothing to take on faith.
